Job summary

Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) seeks an Accounting Specialist to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll for the Waite Park site. The role is shared for segregation of duties and audit readiness.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus accounting exposure; a 2-year accounting degree is preferred. Monday–Friday, full-time, on-site in Saint Cloud area with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and accounting basics helpful.
• Ability to balance multiple accounts and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable including invoices, signatures, checks and ACH payments.
• Process accounts receivable including grant invoicing and reconciliations.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and related payroll taxes and entries.
• Balance year-end payroll totals and support W-2 processing.
