Entry-Level Accounting Specialist (AP/AR)

Location: Century City, CA (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay: $24–$27/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

A growing entertainment company in Century City is seeking an Entry-Level Accounting Specialist to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands‑on experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and up to three years of accounting experience. This role offers exposure to various accounting functions, opportunities for professional growth, and a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable functions
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and support accounts receivable activities
  • Apply cash receipts and maintain accurate payment records

  • Research and resolve invoice, payment, and billing discrepancies
  • Assist with month‑end close activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 0–3 years of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization
