The position is 100% onsite in Cincinnati, with parking provided by the company. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in billing or accounting and solid Excel skills to analyze and organize billing data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or a similar role.
• Associate degree in business preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Service-oriented with effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills for analyzing and organizing data.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Well-organized, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on project activity.
• Verify time entry accuracy and billing data with internal staff.
• Respond to billing inquiries from internal and external contacts.
• Manage billing throughout the project lifecycle, including setup, funding, invoicing, and closeout.
• Process purchase orders and related documentation.
• Apply and reconcile incoming payments to customer accounts.
• Review billing reports and perform accuracy checks.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including GL reconciliations.
• Support leadership with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis.

The individual will work closely with internal teams and external contacts to ensure accurate invoicing, timely payments, and reliable financial reporting. This position is 100% onsite and will pay between $58K and $72K annually. Parking is paid for by the company.

• Partner with internal staff to verify time entry accuracy and billing data
• Respond to billing-related inquiries from internal teams and external contacts
• Manage billing activities throughout the project lifecycle, including setup, funding, invoicing, and closeout
• Process purchase orders and related documentation
• Apply and reconcile incoming payments to the appropriate customer accounts
• Review billing reports and perform accuracy checks
• Assist with month-end close activities, including general ledger reconciliations
• Support leadership with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis as needed
