Tucson Asphalt Contractors (TAC) is looking for an Accounting Specialist – AP/AR to join our team. This position will play an important role in supporting our day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, accurate, dependable, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Construction moves quickly, so the right person will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating with vendors and customers, and following items through to completion.
Previous AP/AR or accounting experience is preferred. Experience with QuickBooks is strongly preferred, and construction accounting experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands the importance of deadlines and accurate financial records, communicates well, and is comfortable following up when information or payment is needed.
