Job summary

Armor Health is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team and maintain accurate general ledger records, reconcile daily transactions, and support month-end close.

Your responsibilities include accounts receivable, preparing financial statements, audits support, and documentation. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in bookkeeping/accounting and strong Excel skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Process accounts receivable.
• Assist with monthly financial statement preparation.
• Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and vendor information verification.
• Prepare and organize financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and tax-related requests.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed.
