Job summary

ImmunEdge has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our growing Finance team. This role supports month-end close, accounts payable, and general ledger activities while helping to build a strong foundation across finance operations in a fast-moving, early-stage biotech.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 1–3 years of accounting experience, and a solid understanding of US GAAP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience; public accounting a plus.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; eagerness to learn in a startup.

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle month-end close, including journal entry preparation, accruals, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
  • Assist with recording payroll and lease-related entries.
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Facilitate vendor onboarding and contract/purchase-request intake.
  • Assist with year-end audit support and auditor requests.
  • Support employee expense and T&E processing.
  • Maintain audit-ready records and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.

Position:

This individual will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the accounting function supporting month-end close, accounts payable, and general ledger activities while building a strong foundation across finance operations in a fast-moving, early-stage biotech.

Key Responsibilities:

Expected Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
