You will handle routine clerical tasks, maintain meticulous records, and alert management to potential fraud or risk factors.

Qualifications

• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, organizing, and reconciling financial data.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliations or banking reconciliations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Completes processing of daily transaction activity, including incoming cash or outgoing cash transactions, to ensure they are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with department and company policy.
• Completes clerical tasks including, but into limited to, copying, scanning, mailing, filing, report distribution, and responding to emails and phone calls. Fulfills other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the functions.
• Evaluates transactions and alerts appropriate members of management of potential fraud or other financial risk factors promptly to ensure any impact on the business can be evaluated and appropriate action taken.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of general ledger and banking data.

Vernovis is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist who enjoys working with numbers and takes pride in producing accurate work. The ideal candidate has strong data entry and Excel skills, can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and consistently meets deadlines. Successful candidates will be organized, proactive, and comfortable performing repetitive financial tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

What You’ll Do:
