Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience required.
• Knowledge of GAAP, Chart of Accounts and GL preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Process and pay vendor invoices, including entering bills, approvals, and sending payments.
• Handle weekly payments by check, ACH, and credit card, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Record daily deposits, cash receipts, and customer payments; keep accounts up to date.
• Assist with monthly accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.
• Research and resolve payment, billing, and account issues for vendors and customers; respond to internal questions.
• Maintain organized financial files, support audits and reporting, and help improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:
