Professional Search Group in California is seeking an Accounting Services Manager to lead client accounting services for a diverse portfolio including real estate, construction, and nonprofit organizations. You will own client delivery, mentor a growing team, and partner with firm leadership to shape service delivery.

The role offers hybrid/remote work, direct exposure to leadership, and opportunities to improve operations and profitability across engagements.

Competenze

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including managing or building a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant qualification; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong full cycle accounting, financial reporting, and experience managing multiple clients.
• Experience with real estate, construction, or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel.
• Proven ability to improve processes, manage competing priorities, and coach staff.
• Strong communication, sound judgment, and a proactive, hands-on leadership style.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Oversee bookkeeping, financial reporting, and bill payment services across multiple client engagements.
• Review financial statements for accuracy, resolve accounting issues, and provide clients with useful financial insights.
• Manage workflows, team capacity, budgets, and deadlines to ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Build and document efficient processes that support a growing practice.
• Develop strong client relationships, set expectations, and manage engagement scope, pricing, and profitability.
