Job summary

cogentanalytics, a Greensboro-based consulting firm, seeks a Consulting Controller to strengthen financial operations for mid-tier clients. You will monitor day-to-day transactions, prepare journal entries, and work with our in-house Controllers and CFOs.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks Online is a plus. The compensation plan is aggressive with benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Hands-on accounting experience.
• Excellent client interaction and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks Online is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including AR/AP, posting and classification.
• Prepare journal entries for loans, taxes, bank fees, and 401(k) deductions.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, taxes, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting documents.
• Manage credit card activity and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with in-house Consulting Controllers and CFOs.
