Cogent Analytics in Greensboro, NC, seeks a Consulting Controller to lead financial operations for mid-market clients. You will monitor daily transactions, prepare entries, and produce monthly statements.

You will work with in-house Controllers and CFOs, apply QuickBooks and other software, ensuring accuracy under deadlines. This role offers aggressive compensation and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on accounting experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of accounting software; QuickBooks Online a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day financial transactions (A/R and A/P).
• Prepare journal entries (loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions).
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of banks, sales tax, payroll taxes, 401(k).
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting documents.
• Credit card management and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with in-house Controllers and CFOs.
