Cogentanalytics in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Consulting Staff Accountant to support multiple client engagements with precise bookkeeping, AR/AP, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with accounting software; QuickBooks Online a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and/or perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording of accounts receivables and accounts payable.
• Prepare journal entries such as loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, sales tax, payroll taxes, and 401(k).
• Monitor and/or prepare monthly financial statements and all supporting documents.
• Credit card management and reconciliation.
• Work in conjunction with our in-house Consulting Controllers and CFOs.

Consulting Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be a proven bookkeeper comfortable with assisting multiple clients. In this role you should be a strong communicator and able to handle day-to-day activities, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work independently as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILTIES
