Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking an experienced accounting professional to produce SBF accounting reports and enter data for senior management review. This full- or part-time role covers daily reconciliation, journal entries, month-end closes, and multiple reporting duties across accounts payable and budgets.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, 8+ years in accounting within financial services, and the ability to adapt to industry-specific software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred in Accounting/Finance.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Experience with accounting software and industry tools.
• 8+ years accounting experience in financial services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly end financial reporting and variance commentary.
• Create reports including balance sheet, P&L, client revenue, and SOFR/Prime rates.
• Prepare daily reconciliations and journal entries for review.
• Prepare monthly end journal entries and accruals.
• Generate broker and BDO commission reports; enter approved expenses.
• Assist in annual budget and weekly/periodic reporting for management.
