Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking an Accountant in CityScape to assist with accounting and financial reporting. You will work closely with Financial Reporting Managers to prepare SEC schedules, perform journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc projects while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in accounting, a bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel skills. MBA or Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Masters or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial schedules and analysis for SEC and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare journal entries for month-/quarter-/year-end closes.
• Support accounting department needs and financial reporting processes.
• Support inter-company accounting and revenue recognition.
• Interface with management, auditors, and regulators on SOX requirements.
