Responsibilities:
- Process store payroll weekly
- Write weekly schedules for accounting associates
- Order office supplies and ensure proper inventory
- Ensure accurate count and balance of office media
- Make deposits and record transactions accurately
- Maintain lane accountability and inventory
- Manage lottery tickets, stamps, and change
- Oversee all aspects of the cash office including audits, pickups, deposits, store change, WIC, and coupons
- Follow security procedures for cash handling
- Receive and verify product deliveries and returns
- Process returned items according to debt procedures
- Accurately enter received or credited products into RF Scanner or Telxon system
- Reconcile vendor invoices
- Assist guests with questions, SCRIP purchases, store charges, and special orders
- Maintain accurate information in WFM and generate reports
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate accounting/receiving associates
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members
- Contribute to organizational effectiveness with suggestions and recommendations
- Proactively address problems and adapt to operational changes
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Promote our products and services actively
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- At least 2 years of office experience
- Certification for Hi Lo/Powered Pallet Jack preferred
- Strong management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and email; ability to learn proprietary applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
