PDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Processing Clerk in Temple, TX to gain real-world accounting experience from day one. You will support accounting, pricing, fuel management, and data processing for clients in a fast-paced team environment.

You’ll learn the accounting cycle hands-on—recording transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close—while collaborating with seasoned professionals and leveraging the systems our clients rely on.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with core accounting functions, including A/P and A/R.
• Exposure to month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with industry accounting systems and client data.
• Eagerness to learn from experienced accounting professionals.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and record business transactions for assigned accounts (A/P, A/R, etc.).
• Perform general ledger activities including journal entries and reclassifications.
• Interface with store managers to ensure accurate data and reports.
• Generate and review customer financial statements and reconcile accounts.
• Review monthly operating results and provide improvement insights.
• Support reporting tooling and address accounting/system issues.

Role Overview

Looking for your first step into accounting? Join PDI Technologies’ Managed Services team as an Accounting Processing Clerk and gain real‑world accounting experience from day one. You’ll support accounting, pricing, fuel management, and data processing for leading convenience retail and petroleum companies in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

This role is built for people who want a strong foundation in accounting. You’ll learn the accounting cycle hands‑on – recording transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting the month‑end close – while working alongside experienced professionals and learning the systems our clients rely on.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and record business transactions for assigned accounts, including A/P, A/R, and other routine accounting activities
• Perform general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications
• Interface with store managers and personnel to ensure efficient store processing, providing timely and accurate data, preparing statements and basic financial reports
• Generate and review customer financial statements, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts – including billing, bank statements, and credit card settlements – as part of the period close process
• Review and analyze monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness, providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented
• Follow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial data
• Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking tools
