Job summary

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking an Accounting Operations Representative in Smithfield, RI to support Abandoned Property reissue, re-credit requests, and related accounting tasks. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of accounting experience, plus strong customer service and communication skills.

You will work with the FI Operational Accounting Processing Support Group, handling reconciliations in BOLA, disbursement inquiries, and other duties as assigned.

The Role

As an Accounting Operations Representative you will be primarily responsible for processing Abandoned Property reissue and re-credit requests received from various business units. In addition, you will become familiar with other assigned department functions such as reviewing and approving of Street Side and Bank Reconciliation adjustments entered in BOLA (Brokerage Online Adjustment system), researching inquiries on disbursement checks and providing copies where needed; void check processing; stop payment processing and other duties as assigned.

The Team

FI Operational Accounting Processing Support Group is a back office accounting and finance group which is responsible for supporting various Fidelity company’s internal and external business partners. The group observes: external audit standards, internal compliance controls, compliance to Federal legislation's, SEC regulatory requirements, and strict adherence to the Fidelity code of ethics

The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
