CLA is seeking a Manager/Director – Accounting Methods to join its Federal Tax Strategies team in Illinois. The role focuses on tax strategies for timing and character of income, expense recognition, capitalization, and cost recovery, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor staff.

Ideal candidates bring a CPA and 6 years of experience at a large professional services or public accounting firm, with strong communication, judgment and results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on accounting methods tax issues to expand knowledge base.
• Participate in accounting methods projects with client data reviews and tax form filings.
