Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is required; JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of CPA.

Responsibilities

• Consult on accounting methods-related issues including automatic and non-automatic accounting methods changes.
• Display solid verbal and written communication skills to evaluate and articulate complex information.
• Conduct research related to accounting methods tax issues to expand knowledge base.
• Participate in accounting methods projects, including client interviews, reviewing data, preparing calculations and filings.
• Assist with researching and drafting method changes, responses to IRS inquiries, ruling requests, and memoranda.
• Collaborate with managers, directors and principals across the Firm.
• Coach or mentor staff to develop skills and careers.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a reliable manner.
