Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Three years of related accounting experience required.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in accounting or related field.
• Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Responsibilities

• Supports Sponsored Program Accounting by monitoring awards and reviewing financial activity.
• Assists with preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
• Ensures accuracy and compliance with policies, laws, and accounting standards.
• Provides guidance on budgeting, reporting, and compliance to university departments.
• Assists with audits by providing records and reconciliations.
• Works with departments to resolve accounting issues.
