Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking an Accounting Manager in Alpharetta, GA to lead the monthly close across multiple entities and locations. The role mentors accounting staff and drives improvements in reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have strong operational accounting experience, multi-site exposure, and ERP familiarity (Sage Intacct/NetSuite). Growth minded, entrepreneurial culture awaits.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong operational accounting and month-end close experience.
• Multi-entity and/or multi-site accounting experience required.
• ERP platforms such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite experience preferred.
• Demonstrated process improvement and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close across multiple entities and locations.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor senior accounting staff.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting deliverables.
• Support acquisition integrations and accounting process standardization.
• Help build scalable accounting infrastructure, processes, and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership on financial reporting, automation, and operational improvements.
• Support location-level financial reporting and allocation methodologies.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
