Job summary

Partnership Employment in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own the accounting function end-to-end. You will report to the CFO and lead a team of accountants and billers through a migration from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct, while driving process improvements.

The role focuses on monthly closes, financial reporting under US GAAP, internal controls, and collaboration with operations on revenue recognition and audits. A CPA is preferred; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of public or private accounting experience.
• Healthcare services experience required; NEMT/payor billing preferred.
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with Sage 50/Sage Intacct/QuickBooks Online; ERP migration a plus.
• Strong internal controls and process improvement track record.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and prepare financial statements under US GAAP.
• Lead and develop the accounting team (accountants and billers).
• Oversee AR, AP, payroll, treasury, lease accounting, and fixed assets.
• Collaborate with operations on revenue recognition and invoicing.
• Support migration from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct; data integrity and COA design.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; respond to inquiries.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive finance process improvements.
• Develop financial KPIs and support budgeting/forecasting.
