Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger, financial close, and financial reporting responsibilities.
• Experience with nonprofit, governmental, association, hospitality, destination marketing or similarly complex organizations is ideal.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.
• Strong presentation and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Supervise accounting personnel and assign responsibilities with clear deadlines.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor administration, billing and collection activities.
• Coordinate annual independent audit and prepare supporting workpapers and schedules.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts; ensure GAAP compliance.
