Job summary

Unknown Client in Florida seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee multiple companies’ accounting operations. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient processes, and collaborate with the finance team and leadership.

Role requires strong accounting principles knowledge, Excel proficiency, and experience with monthly/annual closings; construction industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; associates may suffice with experience.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance roles; 2-3 years in higher-level accounting with monthly/annual closings.
• Construction industry knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement).
• Close jobs with accruals for open costs and maintain WIP/COC reports.
• Oversee general ledger and job/project cost data accuracy and filing.
• Coordinate with CFO and project managers on budgeting and variance analyses.
• Ensure tax filings are accurate and timely; support audits.
