Job summary

TITAN INDUSTRIAL METAL CORPORATION in California seeks an operations-focused accounting leader to manage A/R, A/P, GL, closings and financial reporting. You will interact with senior management and drive improvements across finance and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting within recycling, waste management or construction, plus strong GAAP knowledge and QuickBooks/Excel skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or finance (CPA or MBA is a plus).
• 5+ years’ accounting experience in recycling, waste management or construction.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, treasury and billing.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to quickly learn operations and analyze business results.
• Attention to detail; ability to work 40+ hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Oversee inventory accounting for scrap metal purchases, processing and sales.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures.
• Enter payroll in ADP and prepare payroll reports as needed.
• Lead accounting and financial operations, including systems evaluation and integration.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, analysis and reporting.
• Provide leadership to A/R, A/P, billing and GL teams.
• Assist CEO/CFO on financial analysis and special reports.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
