Job summary

LHH in Tennessee is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee billing, month-end close, and financial reporting. You will mentor staff and partner with operations leadership to improve controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and senior accountant experience, with emphasis on accurate GL entries, reconciliations, and process improvements. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Senior Accountant-level experience is required.
• Operations accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing preparation, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure financial activity is complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner.
• Support and progressively assume ownership of month-end close activities, including accruals, account reconciliations, recurring schedules, and financial reporting deliverables.
• Analyze financial and operational data, investigate variances, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded within the general ledger.
• Partner with accounting and operational leadership to resolve issues, provide recommendations, and enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of financial processes.
• Manage customer and vendor onboarding, system setup, documentation requirements, and ongoing maintenance of key records.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and streamline workflows to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support continued business growth.
