St. Mary Development Corporation in Dayton, OH is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead development and corporate accounting, drive financial reporting, and ensure strong internal controls.

This in-office role combines hands-on accounting with strategic oversight to support affordable housing and community development missions. You will oversee journal entries, month-end close, payroll collaboration, and grant-related accounting while partnering with leadership and program teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong financial reporting and financial analysis experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries and month-end close activities.
• Solid understanding of GAAS and internal controls.
• Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables and financial reporting functions.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on within a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, service, and community impact.
