Job summary

Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity seeks a seasoned accounting leader to manage payroll, receivables, payables, and housing corporation accounting across entities with combined revenue around $5 million. You’ll own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes and mentor an AP/AR specialist in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience.
• Fund accounting experience a significant plus for potential Controller track.
• Nonprofit/association experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Payroll: review and approve payroll for accuracy and compliance.
• Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable: oversee processes and supervise AP/AR Specialist.
• Housing Corporation Accounting: manage budget tracking and financial statements.
• Month-End, Quarter-End, Year-End reporting: close processes, reconciliations, audit readiness.
• Internal Controls, Process Improvement, and Staff Development: enhance controls and train staff.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: develop annual budgets and monitor performance.
