Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager at our Bryan, Texas facility to lead the general ledger, close process, and cost accounting activities. You will mentor staff and collaborate with operations to understand cost drivers, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls.

The role emphasizes project-based accounting and adherence to GAAP, with opportunities to optimize processes and support audits in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience including full-cycle close.
• Experience supervising accounting staff preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure data accuracy.
• Support project accounting: job cost tracking, milestone billing, and POC entries.
• Assist in cost accounting methods and reporting tools development.
• Partner with operations to understand cost drivers and support forecasting.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; foster collaboration.
• Prepare and review financial reports: earnings, cash flow, cost performance.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain controls documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
