Job summary

Imperial Brady is seeking a pro-active accounting leader to join our team in Las Vegas. The role covers portions of the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, general accounting, and reporting, collaborating closely with the Senior Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller on policies and practices.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in Accounting, 5+ years progressive accounting experience in a distribution environment, CPA preferred, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, CPA Preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively advancing accounting roles.
• Experience in distribution environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Financial Statement preparation experience required.
• Experience in supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Monthly close process.
• Ensuring compliance with company internal controls and policies.
• Reconciliation of intercompany transactions & balances.
• Monthly operating variance analysis.
• Fulfillment of external and internal financial audit and tax requests.
• General Ledger account reconciliations.
• Customer and vendor rebate accruals and tracking.
• Fixed Asset Maintenance.
• Recording of daily banking activity and monthly reconciliations.
• Proactive facilitation of process improvements and problem solving.
• Supervise, develop and provide feedback to direct reports.
• Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
