You will supervise staff, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, support internal and external audits, and manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and cash flow activities.

Strong attention to detail, leadership, and communication are required to drive accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance in a healthcare-adjacent environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting
• Analyze, review, verify, and post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
• Investigate and correct accounting entries as needed
• Prepare and/or review internal and external reports and ad hoc analyses
• Support the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring billing accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain the billing system and generate and send invoices
• Maintain client invoicing and bill payment records
• Monitor aging balances and assess collectability
• Ensure revenue recording complies with U.S. GAAP
• Assist internal and external auditors with periodic audits of financial records and statements
• Reconcile and adjust bank accounts to manage cash flow
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government and tax requirements
• Oversee, mentor, and support the growth of assigned Finance staff
• Administer departmental policies and procedures, evaluate performance, and assist with budgets, strategic plans, and policies
• Perform special projects and other assigned duties
