Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting function, lead the accounting team, and partner with leadership on financial reporting and operational initiatives.

You will manage month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, internal controls, and trust accounting. You’ll develop staff, drive process improvements, and coordinate external audits and tax engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounting Manager or equivalent-level experience.
• Strong full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, close, and reconciliations.
• Experience leading accounting staff and developing professionals.
• Solid internal controls and accounting procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee daily accounting operations and preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Lead monthly and annual close including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Manage trust and other bank account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial analysis, variance reporting, dashboards and metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Coordinate audits, tax engagements, and regulatory filings.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
