Job summary

Image Solutions, Inc. in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage the month-end close.

This hands-on leadership role reports to the VP of Finance & Accounting and supports budgeting, forecasting, and cross‑functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting, process discipline, and a track record of building scalable processes in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years supervising or leading accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience overseeing payroll operations and compliance; Paylocity experience preferred.
• Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite, NSPB, and Power BI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Own month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate financial statements, timely reconciliations, and compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage payroll reviews, approvals, adjustments, tax filings, and year‑end reporting.
• Establish and maintain internal controls that protect company assets, support accurate reporting, and reduce financial risk.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; deliver budget‑to‑actual reporting.
• Improve accounting workflows, reporting, and financial systems (NetSuite, NSPB, Paylocity, Power BI).
• Lead and develop the Accounting team with clear expectations and accountability.
