The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership, CPA preferred, deep GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing month-end close and audits; ERP/Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and statements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Mentor accounting staff and develop talent.
• Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze results and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Strengthen controls and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with operations to enhance financial reporting.
• Assist with special projects and system enhancements.
