Job summary

Brown Rudnick LLP is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the Firm's general accounting operations, close processes, treasury activities, and internal controls. You will lead a team of accounting professionals and partner with Finance leadership to maintain a scalable, well-controlled environment.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities in a professional services or law firm setting, strong GAAP knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in law firm or professional services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close.
• Experience with ERP/financial systems and Excel.
• Experience managing audits and treasury operations.
• Experience in multi-office and international environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff accountants and senior staff accountants.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage treasury operations and banking relationships.
• Lead external audit process and coordinate auditor communications.
• Maintain internal control framework and accounting policies.
• Partner with CFO and finance leadership on strategic initiatives.
