What You’ll Do:

As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be the right hand to senior finance leadership and the go-to leader for a small but impactful accounting team. Your role will blend tactical oversight with strategic input, helping to ensure timely closes, accurate financial reporting, and effective forecasting.

Your Impact:

• Supervise and support a team of three accounting staff members—coach, develop, and ensure team goals are met.
• Oversee daily and monthly accounting operations, including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and internal financial statements.
• Partner with the Controller and Assistant Controller on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing accurate data and financial insights.
• Manage external surveys, filings, and unclaimed property compliance.
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Tackle ad-hoc projects and process improvements with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years leading or supervising a team.
• Background in manufacturing or a product-based business is a definite advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required; Oracle ERP experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
