Job summary

Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller candidate to manage monthly close, payroll, and AR/AP across the Fraternity, Housing Corporation, and Foundation. The role leads process improvements, supervises the AP/AR Specialist, and strengthens internal controls.

The position offers a clear growth path toward Controller, exposure to foundation accounting, and a hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in accounting/financial management, nonprofit/association experience ideal.
• Familiarity with fund accounting and nonprofit software (QuickBooks, Blackbaud).
• Strong AR/AP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll accuracy, coding, and compliance for timely processing.
• Manage AR/AP across Fraternity, Housing Corporation, and Foundation; supervise AP/AR Specialist.
• Implement and manage a member-based billing model for dues collection.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; support audits.
