Job summary

Sisecam is seeking an Accounting Manager for our U.S. corporate office in Atlanta to lead accounting operations, close processes, and financial reporting.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders and reinforces internal controls while driving continuous process improvement. The position supports consolidated financial statements, intercompany accounting, and audits with a focus on accuracy and timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; active CPA strongly preferred, CMA or MBA considered a plus.
• Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
• Proven experience leading month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements and managing intercompany accounting activities.
• Demonstrated expertise in balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, variance investigations, and journal entry preparation.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising, coaching, mentoring, and developing accounting team members.
• Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders and support business decisions through financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely completion of closing tasks.
• Review close checklists and resolve outstanding items.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances impacting monthly results.
