Markent Personnel is seeking an Accounting Manager in Oxnard, CA for a hybrid role. You will oversee client engagements, ensure scope compliance, and supervise staff across multiple accounts.

The role requires 7–10 years in accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication in English. Proactive budgeting, KPI reporting, and business development are included, with Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in accounting with recent time as an account manager or equivalent
• Thorough understanding of double-entry accounting and US GAAP
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Strong communication in English
• Willingness to travel to client or other firm locations

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagement teams on multiple engagements ensuring adherence to scope and manage records (bank, vendor, payroll)
• Prepare month or period-end packages under US GAAP or cash basis; assist with budgets and forecasts
• Build and analyze dashboards or KPI metrics for clients and maintain clear client communications
• Delegate tasks to Senior Accountants; supervise and train staff; participate in business development
• Invoicing clients monthly and managing aged receivables; travel to client or firm locations as needed
• Ensure adherence to budgets and monitor overruns
