Job summary

Ledgent in Oakland, CA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for a hybrid role with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. The compensation range is $150,000–$185,000 per year, DOE.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting (MS preferred), 10+ years of full cycle GAAP experience, and CPA is helpful. Family-office multi-entity experience and ERP proficiency (Great Plains) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle GAAP accounting for multiple entities in a family-office environment.
• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L) and related reports.
• Coordinate with outside CPA for tax returns and year-end compliance.
• Manage journal entries, general ledger, and payroll processes; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain ERP system and develop Excel-based reporting tools.

Local, established and growing Logistics Firm in Oakland, CA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a Hybrid schedule in Oakland, CA with 2 days onsite and 3 remote. $150,000 - $185,000/ DOE

Qualified Candidates will have the following:

• Degree in Accounting (or similar), MS in Accounting+, with 10+ years of full cycle GAAP Accounting, CPA helpful!
• Family office experience desired, multiple entity accounting needed
• Must have knowledge of tax returns and preparation to work with the outside CPA firm
• Should be very confident with journal entries, G/L, payroll, financial reporting including Balance and P&L
• Very strong system skills needed, advanced Excel, ERP knowlege, Great Plains a plus
• This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite in Oakland, CA and 3 days remote
• $150,000 - $185,000 / DOE
