Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting to lead the month-end close and financial reporting for the New York City or Albany office. This role requires a strong accounting background, supervisory experience, and deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

The position is in-office, with opportunities to lead cross-functional finance initiatives and provide strategic analyses for external reporting. CPA preferred and Oracle/Workiva experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CPA candidacy is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 6+ years of accounting/auditing experience with full set of financial statements.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Workiva is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and U.S. Stat.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Ensure SOX compliance and support internal/external audits.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
