Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2–3 years leading projects or teams.
• Biotech/pharma or life sciences experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and payroll regulations.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP; ability to improve accounting processes.
• Payroll accounting experience and payroll reconciliations.
• Audits: data gathering for internal and external audits.
• Able to partner with FP&A and HR on cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and purchasing integrations.
• Drive process improvements for scalable operations.
• Support audits and ensure policy compliance.
• Partner with HR, IT, and FP&A on initiatives.
