Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, managerial finance, business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting positions, including 1+ years of experience managing accounting staff.
• In-depth experience with accounting principles/theories (GAAP, FASB).
• Demonstrated experience managing internal payroll operations.
• High proficiency with MS Office and job costing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Directing the preparation of financial statements and the financial analysis of the organization.
• Managing compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, internal controls and tax filings.
• Creating and analyzing reports to identify opportunities to improve financial results or address potential risk to the organization.
• Developing systems and processes to improve division and company results.
• Managing the payroll processing process.
• Overseeing the AR, AP and general bookkeeping processes, in conjunction with the bookkeeping/accounting team.
• Other duties as assigned.
