Job summary

RJ Lawn & Landscape in the United States is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting for the branch, combining hands-on work with people leadership. You will manage the month-end close, prepare department KPIs, file sales tax returns, and oversee AR, billing, AP, payroll, and job costing, ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.

This role reports to the Branch Manager and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and reliable

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and its application.
• Experience with month-end close, tax, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close and reporting by department.
• Oversee AR, billing, payroll, and job costing to ensure GL alignment.
• Prepare and file sales/use tax returns and monitor tax compliance.
• Develop and maintain branch KPI dashboards.
