Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for six regional offices across five states.
• Manage and reconcile complex general ledger accounts.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and analyses.
• Design and maintain the Chart of Accounts within Aspire Landscape Software.
• Standardize processes and best practices across locations.
• Assist with implementation and optimization of Aspire modules and workflows.
• Monitor inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.

Diamond Landscaping is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Regional Controller/FP&A to oversee the accounting operations for six regional offices across five states. Reporting directly to the CorporateController, this position will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the company's continued growth through standardized accounting practices.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled accounting professional with extensive general ledger experience, multi-entity accounting expertise, and a proven ability to lead accounting process improvements and support our financial planning and budgeting requirements. This individual will also serve as the accounting lead for our Aspire Landscape Software integration, including the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a scalable Chart of Accounts that supports the company's operational, financial reporting, and financial planning needs. Critical to this role is a digital-first mindset and the ability to streamline, automate, and optimize tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for six regional offices across five states, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Manage and reconcile complex general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial analyses.

• Partner with the Controller to standardize accounting processes and establish best practices across all locations.
