RJ Lawn & Landscape seeks an Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting for the Iowa branch. You will oversee month-end close, internal controls, KPIs, and the administrative team handling AR, billing, purchasing, AP, payroll, and job costing.

The role requires a strong GAAP background, 3+ years in accounting, and hands-on leadership. You will guide the team through close periods and support audits, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervision.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, tax, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and internal controls.

Responsabilités

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with reconciliations.
• Oversee branch financial statements, KPI reporting, and budgeting.
• Manage AR, AP, payroll, and job costing with a supervisor role.
• Prepare and file state sales/use tax returns for the branch.
• Develop dashboards of financial indicators for leadership.
