CPA is required. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in accounting, at least 5 years in mining industry financials, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. The position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on financial experience within the mining industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and understanding of FASB standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data collection and reporting for internal and external compliance.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting, CAPEX tracking, asset lifecycle management, and depreciation; develop visual reports for executives.
• Manage property tax reporting to state authorities and assist with annual budgets forecasts.
• Support technical accounting memos, internal policy documentation, and audit preparations.
