Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking an Accounting Manager to deliver accurate GAAP-based financial reporting and ensure proper ERP posting. You will oversee A/P, payroll per union contracts, and support budgeting and cash forecasting while driving improvements in the accounting department.

The role requires thorough understanding of accounting controls, hands-on leadership of the GL team, and collaboration with audits to meet deadlines. Onsite in Peoria, IL and part of a global industrial leader.

Competenze

• GAAP-compliant financial reporting experience.
• Experience ensuring transactions flow correctly in ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and timely invoice payments.
• Payroll processing with union-contract compliance.
• Ability to assist in detailed budgeting and cash forecasting.

Mansioni

• Prepare corporate monthly, quarterly and annual financials.
• Support internal and external audits with control documentation.
• Participate in annual budgeting and provide department schedules.
• Manage chart of accounts and financial formats for clear analysis.
• Investigate variances and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to A/P, A/R and general accounting staff on GL issues.
• Contribute to profitability through recommendations and improvements.
• Handle complex accounting issues with initiative and judgment.
