Kforce Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager in Scottsdale, AZ. The role leads a small accounting team, drives month-end close improvements, and supports process enhancements while ensuring GAAP compliance.

The ideal candidate has a CPA and public accounting exposure, strong leadership, and experience with manufacturing costing and plant operations. Preparation for a Fixed Assets software implementation is anticipated in 2027.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Public accounting background essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with manufacturing costing and plant operations preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2–3 person general accounting team and manage day-to-day month-end close.
• Drive process and system improvements, reduce month-end close cycle from 10 business days.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of Fixed Assets Management Software (planned for 2027).
