Job summary

Engage Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented hotel accounting professional for a remote, United States-based role. You will handle daily cash reconciliation, vendor invoicing, AR/receivables, and participate in budgeting for multiple hotels.

A BA/AS in accounting is preferred, with 2-3 years hotel accounting experience; proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required. This position offers performance-based bonus, health benefits, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• BA or AS in accounting or business administration; hotel accounting experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of hotel accounting experience desired.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel; familiarity with hotel accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash reconciliation for hotels.
• Processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Booking sales records and monitoring accounts receivable.
• Ensure hotel level book keepers reconciling ledgers.
• Hands-on payroll, billing, accounts payable, and incurred cost proposals.
• Manage receivables including deposits, balancing, invoices, and GL updates.
• Participate in annual hotel budget process.
• Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and select P&L accounts.
• Work independently with attention to detail.
• Assist CEO with special projects.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Daily cash reconciliation for hotels

• Processing of vendor invoices and payments

• Booking sales records and monitoring account receivables

• Ensure hotel level book keepers are properly reconciling ledgers

• Must have hands-on experience in payroll, billing, and accounts payable and incurred cost proposal preparation.

• Managing the receivables process including incoming payments by preparing bank deposits, maintaining, balancing financial information, verifying invoices, and updating the general ledger.

• Participate in Annual budget process of hotels

• Perform monthly account reconciliations of all balance sheet account and certain P&L accounts.

• Must work efficiently and independently while paying close attention to details

• Other Duties includes special projects assigned by CEO.

Requirements:

• BA or AS in accounting or business administration

• Must have hotel accounting experience

• 2-3 years of hotel accounting experience desired

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Online- QuickBooks, and Excel and other hotel accounting software, DOCYT a Plus

Salary: $20 -$23 per hour depending on experience.
